"Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you." ~ Friedrich W. Nietzsche

Hello!

This site still receives a lotta traffic. Thank you for your continued interest.

I am still currently writing horror/suspense/pulp only in longer form. Visit my alter ego HERE for continued updates and current fiction. And please, you can call me Jodi or whatever you called me before I went all nom de plume.

Thanks for the years of loyal friendship and support.

Featured Author at Full Of Crow

I just about fell out of my chair (and I think I snorted my coffee) when Lynn emailed me with the good news. Lynn Alexander’s talent in expressing art through words and photography (and showcasing others) is 100% classy. I feel humbled to not only have my story 'Art’ published in Full Of Crow, but to be featured as well. (I’m not worthy!)

Thank you, Lynn.

Go check out her creations. You’ll be nothing less than impressed.

hmmm... not just published; FEATURED story... sounds MOST worthy. what worries me tho' is your sudden turn to coffee snorting. addiction is an ugly circle... (ref: "The Addiction" on my blog) before i build an intervention team tho'... do you find your nose itching when you drive by starbucks? do you find coffee beans in your bed? (possible sleep-snorting) does your nose drip irish cream or hazelnut? these are early warnings. please call me if you need to! please... before it's too late... before the venezulan coffee bean lords have their hooks in you!!

Aw, thank you guys!

Mike S - You are so right about the ongoing encouragement and support. We've got such great team of people don't we? Just fantastic to work with you all. ;) Thanks for the kudos!

A.Z. ~Writing fool? You better believe it. Thank you buddy. I appreciate it.

Mr. Billy Toad ~ Coffee addiction. Yes. My nose definitely tickles when I drive by a starbucks. Unfortunetly the closest starbucks is 65 miles away. I'm so deprived! Your spiel sounds like something John Foxworthy would say for his Redneck stunts, which really scares me because - I really might be a red neck now! Thanks buddy.

Fabulous Jodi- persistence and talent is what it takes, and you are teeming with both.
Looking forward to reading some of your other gems this month...now take a bow and enjoy your triumphs!

Erin! Thank you so much girl. You reminded me of a particularly talented writer who came up with a genius idea to hold a 13 days of horror on her site this month. ;) I'll add that above. I'm so looking forward to all the haunted stories.

Splendiferous is a word which comes to mind, Ms MacArthur ... for you set out to be a mad writer, and it's making you very happy and fellow writers very glad.

Oh yes, and your "Art" of bloody thorns signed off in true colours. You look great on the dais with the one shoulder black rhinestone gown. I knew you were saving it for your classic occasions.

Your sense of self and self to others harbingers well. ~ Absolutely*Kate

Just read your story in the form of a personal letter, "Art". Wow, that is brilliant! I'm a sucker for tales of personal destruction, especially when there is a bizarre twist at the end. Well executed.

Thank You *Absolutely for stopping by and reading. ;) Hey, that off shoulder rhinestone dress - who first asked me on stage as a backup singer? Thanks, girl.

Mark~ I love your poetry and art. Thanks for reading up on my work. So cool to meet the guy whose art I've seen on so many sites!
