Public Service Announcement:

Jodi is currently aloofing and writing in a small cave under the world’s largest cactus in southern Texas. She hasn't been reading blogs, is staying away from FaceBook (and all other social networks), and may tweet when the pirate wench demands it.

She misses you all, appreciates your comments, and promises to catch up with all your publishings, bloggings, and other such wonderfulness when the first draft of her novel is concluded. Email is open to everyone at all times. Donation of candles is appreciated.

Thank you for your kind attention. Write on.

Um, when you're finished with the cave, may I borrow it? getting ready to head into my own sabbatical... Write on, girl... write on... Peace, Linda

I think I need a cave of my own. Be careful of waking the bats.

Good luck with the novel. :)

Sending candles by the PO to the world’s largest cactus in southern Texas may be difficult but will try. Best of success with the writing.

All the best Jodi. Wishing you 'great writing'.

Regards, David.

I've been in that cave. Do you see my name scratched into the wall, yes, right there on the left? Ignore the blood and bits of brain matter. Please make it out alive!

Much love,
Suzie

I was wondering where you were hiding.

Good luck with the novel.:)

Yes! I see Suzie's name scratched into the cave wall. Laurita's name is under it (with a warning about the bats). I'll scratch my name in next with Linda's underneath so she'll be next on the list. Plenty of candles thanks to David and the good stuff is from Ant.

Marilyn and David has the cave buried in luck to keep Mike's boogey man away.

Is that a scorpion? *stomp* not anymore.

Phew! What would I do without you guys?

Lots of hugs to you all.

hmmm candles - I like the idea!

Best of luck Jodi - you know we'll miss your spirited, whimsical presence, and hope you'll pop in every now and then.

Remember, if that cactus starts moving - GET OUT...it could be filled with tarantulas!

That sounds like a good idea. Writers that post to their blog every day and leave twenty comments at other blogs - including witty replies to comments on their first comments - never get anywhere with their novels.

Got to go - I've got some witty replies to make at other blogs.

Don't forget to bring a space heater and a cooler full of beer. Just saying.

Stop reading this and go back to writing.

Why in the world would I want to scrawl on your cave wall or be pricked by your cacti when you need to be concentrating on the focus of your perspective without outside interruptions?

Screw the candles. I'm sending Starbucks by the bagful. Brew on woman! Love'ya ~ K*te

So that's where you've been.
I've been in a cave too-- mine is icy though.

Come out, come out wherever you are!
Perhaps on groundhogs day?
ha!

take care

Hmmm...A little cave time sounds wonderful. Hope you're getting a lot done and can't wait to see the product of your spelunking scribbling.

Hope all is going well and you haven't been eaten by the bats, scorpions, or other creepy beings yet. Miss you!

Congats, Jodi.

Makes sense. All this blog work and where's the writing? Novels pay.

Hey Jodi, hope your wings are growing strong! Award for you on The Other Side of Deanna: http://jimwisneski.wordpress.com/2010/02/11/that-ones-that-got-away/
Congratulations!
By the way, thanks for posting the video of Bruce's Devils and Dust! I love not only that song but that whole album, I love Bruce in general. I'd never heard this version, so thanks!

Thank you so much, Deanna! How fun. I'm so glad you like the song, I do too, especially this version. I haven't heard the whole album. I found it on you tube. I'll have to find the album if you like it that much.

Thanks again, I'm honored and loved reading your lies/truths. This will be fun coming up with my own.
