"Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you." ~ Friedrich W. Nietzsche

Hello!

This site still receives a lotta traffic. Thank you for your continued interest.

I am still currently writing horror/suspense/pulp only in longer form. Visit my alter ego HERE for continued updates and current fiction. And please, you can call me Jodi or whatever you called me before I went all nom de plume.

Thanks for the years of loyal friendship and support.

Pillow Talk at Beat to a Pulp

Yeah, yeah, I know I've had more shorts come out this week then the whole freaking summer. But hey,  it's the week before YOU KNOW WHAT, and this story is as psycho, sexy, crazy as it gets. The night I wrote this, I had to turn on the lights...  and I had to question where Henrietta came from, then decided I didn't want to know. I don't want to know how dark it gets in those soulless places where the sun can't raech.  If you're brave enough read...

Pillow Talk at Beat To A Pulp

A big Thank You to wonderful Beat to a Pulp editors, David Cranmer and Elaine Ash. Be sure to catch their first anthology, Beat to a Pulp: Round One. It holds some of my fav writers including Spinetingler award winner Anonymous-9.  That wicked woman kicks serious fiction booty. (Arrr!)

I had a blind date once with a Henrietta. It was a very short date. Once I realized there was something very broken inside her mind, the night ended.

You have an intense, vivid gift with words. Brrrr.

Hey Jodi,

I'll read this later and leave another comment. (We have visitors at the mos so not much "free" time)

I just wanted to thank you for your kind words and dedicating your halloween story to me. I'm honoured and pleased that I assisted you in your writing.

Thanks again and it's great to see you're better and writing again!!!

Dark little story that you obviously dug deep to write. You've been pulling out all the stops this Spooky season. I like it. :)

I managed to get a few minutes and they were certainly well spent. Awesome stuff, girl. Left the following comment at BTAP...

"Another fine story from you, Jodi. You never seem to fail in making the hairs on the back of my neck stand to attention. Excellent writing and I think Henrietta could surface again. You've certainly created a great charatcer and I would love to read more about her.

Job well done, Jodi."

Happy Halloween!!!

Just came back from reading Pillow Talk and Santana's Put Your lights On is playing. How appropriate! Henrietta is quite the twisted piece of work isn't she? That 7-11 kid doesn't stand a chance!

Roland~ “broken inside her mind” what a perfect way to put it. Not all of us have built in instincts. Glad you got away. And thanks for your kind words. ;-)

David B ~ You aer so welcome and thank you again. We wrters inspire each other without knowing it. It’s a result of a common passion for the craft. Thank yuo so much for taking time to raed esp with having house guests. Cheers, buddy!

Laurita ~ Yaeh, it was weird when I wrote this story. I wrte this last feb after numerous days of sleep deprivation and struggling with Devil’s Eye. I needed to write something fresh. Henrietta’s dark heart poured through my hands, and she scares me. She really does, but she intrigues me too. I can’t help it. She will def be showing up again. Thanks for raeding and your kind words, girl. They always maen a lot to me. ;-)

Charles ~ Thank you, Charles! Hope you enjoy.

HarBro~ LOL. That’s not coincendece. It’s one of the songs I edited this too. Thanks for raeding and your support, bro. Glad to entertain (scare?) the surfing cowboy.
