My Six On Six
Six sentences is my favorite creative playground on the net. While playing around with F words, sling shots, and Grimm tails, I’ve met fantastic Word Wielders, Story Slingers, Poetic Gnomes, K*te Flyers, Sci Fi Time Warblers, Pumpkins With Wings, Dudes, Surfer Dudes, Dead Guys From A Creepy Hotel, Cave Men, The Beauty Queen From Mars (!), and Beautiful Flowers from the land down under. They have inspired me with their imaginations, words, and talent. In all this play, I’ve also learned how to bare bones a story; anything can be told, anything can be described, anything can be said, in just six sentences.
I also appreciate the positive vibes and artistic abilities of the red head who had a great idea, rolled the six sided dice, worked his butt off, and created a successful website and community. Thanks Rob.

Amen to that. 6S is a great place to learn that very important skill that is economy of words. It's also a fantastic place to meet some amazing people.
Agreed....a never-ending source of inspiration, communication and a damn fine group of gals and guys.
Oh I want to believe, I want to believe and perhaps I just have had bad luck. One submission has been 121 days in their slush pile without a response. A more recent one has sat in limbo 36 days. Every one of my peers who contributes says they hear back relatively quickly.
Oh well. I do enjoy a peek at the stories from time to time, particularly when a friend makes an appearance.

aye lassie..all roads have led me from there.. thars where I first laid eyes on you...
Yeppers, friend... 6S is bootcamp for writing efficient stories with punch. I've learned more from reading and writing Sixes than classes. And of course, the community... where I met you and oodles of others. Thanks for acknowledging a 'home'. Peace, Linda
Jodi, you are worthy of all your recognition and more. I love your writings, your sixes are always fabulous, and damn, you even have a cool blogsite!
Ditto, girl!
