Lily childs' site is multifaceted and seeped deep in fears of the conscience and subconscious. Not only do I deeply admire Lily's thought provoking fiction, but I also admire her for providing a platform for others. This month she has nicknamed February Femmes Fatales. And the 'Femmes Fatales' she's showcased has blown me away with their talent. I'm excited to have engaged with new macabre women writers through Lily's site. Delicious to say the least.
I am humbled and happy to have my story, Art, featured today.
Thank you, Lily, not only for the story feature, but that hawt intro. Wow. I totally will write you into a Wicked Woman's Booty Episode for that!
I see a naked baby with wings, bow and a broken arrow pointed at butts! Whether you all are falling in or out of love, managing to maintain, or simply believe it doesn't exist: Happy Valentines!
And yes, the rumors are true. I'm caving and editing my novel, Xscents. I'll be sneaking around here and there, but mainly keeping to myself. Thanks for all of yuor support!

Humour, eroticism and the art of "show, don't tell". They're all there. I've found out in the last twenty odd years as my taste literature has fine-tuned a little bit that I can't stand writing that is not facetious at the same time. A writer who has no fun writing, shouldn't write at all. Jodi, you rock! And as for disagreeing with me, well, who cares? :-)
Happy Valentine's!
Greetings from London.
That's cool. I'll check it out. I just had a short story accepted called "Lily White and Red." A very differnt Lily I imagine.
ACIL~ Thank you! I think you rock too and appreciate your comment so much. ;-) And I think its great for people to agree to disagree. The world would be so boring if we all thought the same, there would be no variety. Much goodness your way!
Charles ~ Hey you. Lily White and Red, sounds intriguing. And who knows, perhaps you are channeling our Lily in the UK. ;-) You'll get a good kick & scare out of her site. I guarantee it. I'll keep an eye out for your story.
Everything, and more, that Lily said is true.
Always a pleasure to read your horrific wickedness, Jodi!
Good luck editing. I'll be excited to open a package with your book in it someday soon.
Thank yuo, Erin. For your support, kind words, and just everything. And of cuorse, you'll be getting a signed copy. I decided to try editing a bit sideways & backwards, and its working uot better than before. So maybe that Erin Cole luck is working for me. ;-)
Greatly written, tragic tale! I was glad to read of Amy's future fortunes in your comment, even though I find her present voice unsettling as s#!t whenever she pops up. :)
I think I need to take a cue from you and put paid to some of these multiple WIPs. Good luck with the editing!
Gotta love stories about artists. Fabulous story.

Art is a masterpiece. I'm looking forward to reading a full Jodi novel.
Chris ~ I can't tell you how startling it was to read 'Art' and immediatly identify that voice. It was different & the same. H is much more hick, but I can see her as Amy in another life. Almost like quantum physics. And yes, you totally need to be writing/editing on your larger works. I have these play hard/work hard cycles. Also fire/misfire neuron cycles. ;-)
Sean ~ Thanks, bud. I wish I could draw more than stick men. I can def piant X's. Found that out the other day.
Laurita ~ Thank yuo. I was tickled you pointed out the signature ending. And Im having a good time on the 2nd draft. I forget how much I enjoy all the different stages of teh writing process. ;-)
You overdid yourself this time, Jodi. Incredible piece!
Thank you for your comments over there and here, Mari. I appreciate all your support. ;-)
I'm so late to the game here (been in my own cave ;) but wowza... what a killer piece, Jodi.
You did an awesome job, Jodi. Like Bukowski's Basement, between this mutant flu, napalm poison ivy, and my vampiric job -- I've been snowed under!
Congrats on your fiction being published. Roland
Keep writing but keep in touch too, Jodi Mac.
Good luck on your novel. Editing is a trick I've never gotten the hang of. My hats off to you!
