"Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you." ~ Friedrich W. Nietzsche

Hello!

This site still receives a lotta traffic. Thank you for your continued interest.

I am still currently writing horror/suspense/pulp only in longer form. Visit my alter ego HERE for continued updates and current fiction. And please, you can call me Jodi or whatever you called me before I went all nom de plume.

Thanks for the years of loyal friendship and support.

Feast Of The Flash Results Are In!

Mr. Michael J Solender has thrown this fabulous writing contest, offering to donate $100 to the winner's charity of choice. This is simply fantastic and wonderful in every aspect imaginable. If that isn't enough to knock your socks off - this is: he announced today that he had decided to donate $50 each to the first and second place runner ups - and there are four of us!

What a generous heart Mike has, not just for donating money, but all the time he donated into reading and judging the entries. Wow. My floppy hat off to you, my friend.

Congrats to Grand Prize Winner------
Laurel Wilczek with Thanksgiving Day Pies!

Oh, I adore this woman. She's Super Woman. I fancy her writing away with a red cape, green gloves, and thigh high boots. She finished nano a whole ten days early! Whew- amazing! And this is while she's working with young'uns writing nano at libraries. I asked her if she would share her super powers. She responded. I listened closely, and will share with you. "Sitting upright in a chair for 6 hours. R. Butler calls it the white hot center. Family calls it creepy."

Mike,
I think what you've done is fantastic (obviously). The first runner up stories today were just great! I'm so glad you enjoyed Burning Yesterday, the last four sentences took me an entire day and pretty much threw me out of nanowrimo. LOL. So glad I did though. Quality IS better than quantity.

Thank you for your generous spirit.

Hey Pumpkin King - touche' I can't wait to read them all either. And you are right, there's no stopping this slinger and her frogs. How's the catapult coming along? XD
