"Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you." ~ Friedrich W. Nietzsche

Hello!

This site still receives a lotta traffic. Thank you for your continued interest.

I am still currently writing horror/suspense/pulp only in longer form. Visit my alter ego HERE for continued updates and current fiction. And please, you can call me Jodi or whatever you called me before I went all nom de plume.

Thanks for the years of loyal friendship and support.

And The Winning Bidder is...

I know for a fact she's a hero in more ways than one, but will she want to be written in as one? I asked her hero or villain? And her response was...."evil by day, good by night". That wasn't in the rules! Haha, clever Margo found away around the rules (my kinda chicka).

Thank you for your donation, Margo (and everything you've done for your dear library). You've got a story and signed footprint in order to Muse- The Hobo Prince.

ps. Thank you to everyone who bid, offered donations (especially Karen Schindler), donated funds straight to the library (especially Paul Phillips), helped spread the word, and offered their support.

It was great of you to do this, Jodi. I hope Margo survives her prize!

Haha! I hope she does too ;p

I, uh, hope I do, too? Though dying on the page seems an interesting experience. Hmmm.

Thank you so much, Jodi. And hey – did you know that after all is said and done, the auction will have raised about $39,000 dollars?! :)
Thank you for contributing, and for helping me spread the word. We should be very proud.

I'll post an official update link here later. :)

Hey, hey it's Super Woman!
$39K? Wow, that's fantastic. I'm glad I could contribute to the well being of imagination and children's dreams aka library. Yes, please do post the link.

Thank you, Margo.

ps. The muse is at work ;-)

My husband bought me a Wonder Woman card for my birthday once; I keep it on my desk for inspiration:)
I can't wait to read your story too.

Hee, Erin. I'm sure it's well deserved. Are you going to dress up for us? Maybe oneday I'll have Wonder Woman contest... all my lady writer friends have to dress up and submit pics. That sounds like a fun halloween thang.

Thanks, Ant!

Fabu idea and you should be proud how much your story-contribution helped raise. Bidding got a bit rich for my blood, but if you do it again...

Busy, busy writer, write, write, write. ;)

Can't wait to see what's coming out of it, and I have to say that I wouldn't want to be in Margo's skin.

Loved your new profile pic! :D

Thank you, Mari (Um, I think-ha). I just completed the first draft of the story and it's just SO fun. Margo is getting exactly what she requested. Very excited about this piece.
